Description:

The Malaysian Government’s initiative under the River of Life (ROL) project has installed at least 498 units of GPTs to trap gross pollutants at the end of drainage system and to trap gross pollutants before entering river system. The objectives of this project are to review and enhance the existing GPTs inventory system, planning & management tool for managing GPTs; to optimize the maintenance cost in effective ways without affecting the normal maintenance operation system and structure and develop the training kits and module curricula on the standard of all the Gross Pollutant Trap based on their types and components in line with MSMA Edition 2.
