Kg. Jawa is a high density population area. The flash flood always occurred because of the existing road side drain cannot cope with the excessive amount of water during heavy rain. Besides, there are many undersize culverts and utility crossing that prevents the water flow. There is an urgent need to provide an immediate solution to the flooding issues and insufficient drainage problems and this project entitled ‘Cadangan Menaiktaraf Sistem Saliran di Kg. Jawa, Daerah Klang, Selangor Darul Ehsan’ has been made a priority by Selangor State Government, through Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran (JPS) Negeri Selangor as the implementing and project management agency.
